Getting the heat right
If your thermal profile is off, your preforms deform. It’s that simple. You can’t afford “close enough” when you’re blowing PET. Our lamps are built to match the voltage and wattage your Contiform oven expects. When you use high-wattage tubes, you get that intense heat density needed to keep your cycle times fast. **Just a heads-up though:**if you’re jumping to higher-output tubes, take a quick look at your electrical panels. You don’t want to push your power supplies into the red.
No fuss, no rewiring
Nobody wants to spend their weekend modifying lamp holders or messing with wiring. That’s why we use heavy-wall quartz glass—it keeps the tubes from bowing when things get hot—and a halogen gas fill to keep the filament from burning out too early. Depending on which generation of machine you’re running, we use standard R7s or Sk15 connectors. It’s a total drop-in. You just pull out the dead tube, pop the new one in, and get back to work.
Real-world performance
On the shop floor, it all comes down to how fast that heat hits the PET wall. We focus on shortwave radiation to get the job done quickly, which means your bottles spend less time sitting in the oven. Here’s the thing: fitment is everything.
