I see this all the time when shops try to save a few bucks with “generic” replacement bulbs. They claim they fit, but they don’t actually match the original 380V power curve. That’s where the trouble starts. The problem with “close enough” power Here’s the thing: a 380V rating isn’t just a number on a spec sheet. It controls how the wattage is spread across that quartz tube. When you pop in a lamp with the wrong resistance, the current draw shifts. Suddenly, you’ve got “cold spots” in your oven.
