A couple of practical notes: quartz infrared tubes are touchy. Wipe them only with a clean, lint-free cloth—skin oils create hot spots and shorten life. Check reflector alignment and holder contacts, keep them clean and secure, and make sure voltage and cooling airflow match the rated conditions.
