What Makes It Tick
Here’s the thing about how it works: it runs on a 400V electrical setup. That means it can handle serious power without tripping up standard commercial circuits—when it’s installed right, of course. That power translates to something you’ll actually feel: the heat kicks on fast, delivering infrared energy the moment you need it. The lamp itself is sized to fit the tower’s slim frame, but it’s positioned to radiate heat across a wide area. And it’s all aimed downward, so the warmth lands right on your mat—not wasted up near the ceiling.
The Build Details
The lamp uses a quartz envelope packed with halogen gas. That design keeps the filament clean even when things get hot, which helps the lamp last longer and stay consistent. The glass also has a shortwave infrared coating. It focuses the energy into a spectrum that sinks into your skin and warms your muscles directly. And when it comes to the connector, we went with the R7s standard—a simple, tough bi-pin base that handles high current. If service ever comes up, swapping the lamp is a straightforward, no-fuss job.
How It Feels in Real Use
